What I do

I am a practicing poet and French-to-English translator specializing in contemporary poetry and philosophy. I teach courses in creative writing (poetry), literary translation, contemporary U.S. and global Anglophone literature, poetry & poetics, and theory.

Professional Biography

Lindsay Turner is the author of the poetry collection Songs & Ballads (Prelude, 2018) and the poetry chapbook Fortnights (Doublecross Press, forthcoming). Her translations from the French include books by Amandine André, Stéphane Bouquet, Souleymane Bachir Diagne, Frédéric Neyrat, Richard Rechtman, and Ryoko Sekiguchi. Originally from northeast Tennessee, she is Assistant Professor in the Department of English and Literary Arts at the University of Denver.
