Lindsey Feitz is an Associate Teaching Professor and the Director of the Gender and Women's Studies Program at the University of Denver.

Professional Biography

In addition to teaching, Dr. Feitz regularly shares her research and insights about feminism and gender-equity outside the college classroom for a range of audiences. She is also an active member of the Board of Directors at The Gathering Place, Denver's only day-time resource center for women, children, and transgender individuals who are experiencing poverty.

Dr. Feitz's current book project translates some of the basic tenets of feminism and U.S. Women’s history for people "outside the ivory tower" who are seeking to understand why feminism matters today. She also has a new research project, "Finding Feminism in the Middle" that examines the political values and ideologies of white, suburban women in the wake of the #Metoo movement and 2016 election.
