Professional Biography

Wesley Leffingwell is a musician from Littleton, CO. His diverse background includes classical, jazz, and contemporary music. He has studied at the University of Denver with Steven Mayer, the Royal Danish Academy with Niklas Sivelöv, and the University of Colorado Boulder with Andrew Cooperstock. Leffingwell is now the staff accompanist for the University of Denver's Lamont Chorale. He plays the organ and accompanies the choir at St. Aidan's Church in Boulder. As the music director of Project Move Dance Company, he composed, arranged and performed original music for two seasons. He has played at the Sacramento, Evergreen, and Mile High Jazz Festivals. He took the Gold Medal in the International Keybaord Oddysiad and Festival in 2013. Leffingwell also plays the harpsichord and is continuing to delve into the art of basso continuo. Educating the next generation is very important to him, and he teaches students of all kinds. Leffingwell is a mountaineer and a lover of the outdoors.
