Welcome to the Fall 2022 edition of Lamont Lyrics! We are thrilled to welcome audiences back again to in-person performances, which will start toward the end of this month. In the meantime, please enjoy news from Lamont and six profiles of some fascinating individuals that capture the breadth and depth of the Lamont community. They include a recent alum who’s touring with a Nashville rock band, an undergraduate already getting published for her work in musicology, a generous donor who has established a scholarship for cello students, a proud parent of a third-year flute student, a faculty member who leads The Spirituals Project, and a long-serving staff member who has just retired.
