Confronting Attacks on Academic Freedom

September 25

3:30pm - 5:00pm

Professors are increasingly under attack from media-savvy activists trying to narrow the range of discussion on campus. What are faculty members supposed to do when they're singled out? Come hear from Dr. Ari Kohen of the University of Nebraska about his own experiences and strategies for pushing back and preserving academic freedom.

Ari Kohen is Associate Professor of Political Science and the Schlesinger Professor of Social Justice at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.

This event is supported by the Marsico Visiting Scholars Program, the Political Science Department, and the Center on American Politics. Snacks will be provided.
