Join the Josef Korbel School of International Studies, Center on American Politics, and Estlow International Center for Journalism and New Media as we kick off the 2023 Denver Democracy Summit with a discussion with New York Times columnist Jamelle Bouie on the current health of American democracy. Moderated by Professor Seth Masket, Director of the Center on American Politics, Bouie will explore the recent struggles of American democracy, democratic backsliding in many American states and the ongoing challenges that undermine representation and equality.
