“THE CATHOLIC CLERGY SEXUAL ABUSE CRISIS
IN GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE” with Robert Orsi

The annual James Kirk Lecture fosters greater understanding of the important role religion plays in the world, and in American civic life. 

Robert Orsi is the Grace Craddock Nagle Chair of Catholic Studies at Northwestern University, where he is also the Charles Deering McCormick Professor of Teaching Excellence. He received his PhD from Yale and has taught at Fordham  University, Indiana University, and Harvard  Divinity School. He’s the author of many prize-winningbooks, including The  Madonna of 115th Street: Faith and  Community in Italian Harlem, 1880-1950.
