University of Denver Graduate Programs Rank Among Nation’s Best
U.S. News & World Report ranks several DU graduate programs in the top 100.

The University of Denver’s graduate programs have once again been ranked among the nation’s top 100 in the U.S. News and World Report’s 2025-2026 rankings.
The Sturm College of Law leads the way with two top 10 rankings in its specialty programs: trial advocacy and clinical training both ranked at No. 8. Other specialty areas had single- or double-digit gains including criminal law, dispute resolution, tax law, and legal writing. The college also received high marks for its part-time law program, now ranked at No. 11. The full-time law program is ranked No. 88.
The College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences' psychology program jumped 35 spots to No. 62. The clinical psychology program rose 5 spots to No. 45. The college’s ranking for English climbed two spots, coming in at 97.
The Daniels College of Business' full-time MBA program—designed to help students develop critical business skills using hands-on, experiential learning—has once again earned a spot in the top 100, ranking at 97.
The Morgridge College of Education ranks at No. 100, with its program in library and information studies earning its highest ranking of 29.
U.S. News & World Report rankings for graduate programs are based on two types of data: expert opinions about program excellence and statistical indicators measuring the quality of a school’s faculty, research, students, and post-graduate outcomes.
