Marina’s main areas of research include Queer Theory, Feminism, and the Early Modern Period. She has a background both in English Literature with a B.A. from Chapman University, and Creative Writing and Poetics, with an M.F.A. from the University of Washington Bothell.

Marina Burandt (she/they) is a Ph.D. Candidate focusing on the Early Modern works of Margaret Cavendish and how they resonate with the contemporary notion of self-love.
