Z. Hunter Scribner
Graduate Teaching Assistant
What I do
My scholarly interests are manifold, and tend to cluster around the possibilities and complexities of genre, examining where it breaks down or transforms. I am also in the midst of research around how the commodity form and mode of production affects the aesthetics and form of the contemporary novel. As an aspiring novelist/author, my work is equally centered in the genre-fiction space, interested primarily in the nuances and boundaries of science-fiction and fantasy.
