Professional Biography

Adriel Long joined the University of Denver community in March 2022, where she served as the Assistant Director of Development at the Robert and Judi Newman Center for the Performing Arts before joining the College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences team as its Associate Director of Leadership Annual Giving in October 2025.

Adriel brings more than a decade of experience across the nonprofit, arts, and private sectors. Her professional background includes roles in fundraising, events, operations, and account management with organizations such as the Colorado Symphony, the Colorado Business Committee for the Arts (CBCA), and Cultural Care.

In addition to her work at DU, Adriel remains deeply involved in Denver’s arts and culture community as a freelance artist. She holds an MA in Arts Development and Program Management from DU and a BA in Communication Studies from Texas Christian University. Adriel is a Mesko Scholar and alum of DU’s Institute for Leaders in Development (ILD) and is a current Executive MBA candidate at DU’s Daniels School of Business.
