Professional Biography
Dr. Sinha is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Denver, specializing in international economics, development economics, and political economy.
Her primary research currently focuses on the political economy of development in global value chains with contributions to understanding the uneven development of labor with respect to capital and of developing countries with respect to developed countries in an international system of production and finance. Her collaborative research adopts a political economy framework across the areas of open-economy macroeconomics, monetary policy, and feminist economics. She has teaching experience in diverse classrooms in the US and India in introductory and advanced courses, and she continues to develop her pedagogy through workshops and seminars.
