Professional Biography
Hannah Thompson has served in Alumni Engagement for the College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences (CAHSS) at the University of Denver since 2023, where she builds meaningful connections between DU alumni, students, faculty, and the broader community. With a decade of experience in development and advancement, Hannah brings a deep understanding of relationship-building, strategic communication, and community engagement to her work.
Her career in development began as a student at Syracuse University, where she discovered a passion for donor relations and university advancement. Since then, she has contributed to a range of institutional initiatives focused on strengthening alumni networks, enhancing outreach strategies, and supporting programs that elevate the student and alumni experience.
Alongside her role at DU, Hannah is pursuing her Master of Arts in Media and Public Communication, expanding her expertise in strategic messaging, media theory, and communication research. Her academic work informs her approach to alumni engagement, helping her craft thoughtful, inclusive, and impactful narratives about the CAHSS community.
