Professional Biography

Isabelle Doyle (she/her) is a writer and educator based in Denver, Colorado. Her work has appeared in Poets.org, Los Angeles Review, Typo Magazine, Jet Fuel Review, Hole in the Head Review, Jersey Devil Press, Map Literary, The Madison Review, The Chiron Review, DIALOGIST, and elsewhere. Her awards and fellowships include a 2023 Academy of American Poets Prize, first place in the 2023 Elizabeth Meese Prize in Creative Nonfiction, third place in the 2023 Jerome K. Phipps Prize in Poetry, three Pushcart Prize nominations, a Best of the Net nomination, a Best Small Fictions nomination, and a Best Microfiction nomination. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Alabama.
