Katie attended the Batten Honors College of Virginia Wesleyan University and graduated with a BA in Communication and Political Science. She is currently a graduate assistant at DU pursuing her MA in media and public communication with a particular interest in nonprofit advocacy. Her favorite activities include snowboarding, exploring the city, and attending live music events.
