Professional Biography
Madeline Mackey is beginning her master’s degree in Media and Public Communication. She earned her bachelor’s in Communication with a minor in Spanish from the University of Colorado Denver. Madeline loves learning about the interplay between communication and culture; specifically, how varying demographics use media to express themselves, and how they are expressed within media. She has always been fascinated by language and expression, and when she ran out of Spanish classes to take in high school, she decided to take ASL to expand this passion further. When she is not studying, Madeline works as a barista at a local restaurant. She spends her weekends camping, hiking, and going to shows. Her favorite color is green.
