Professional Biography

Maribeth Waldrep brings more than 15 years of leadership experience in fundraising and philanthropic partnerships, with a career dedicated to advancing education, early childhood development, and community impact. Since joining the University of Denver in 2023, she has served as Director of Development for the Morgridge College of Education, where she partnered with donors to support innovative teaching, research, scholarships, and initiatives that prepare the next generation of educators. In July 2026, she joined the College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences (CAHSS) development team.

Prior to DU, Maribeth led development efforts for several Colorado nonprofits, including Invest in Kids, Sewall Child Development Center, and Growing Home, as well as Niños de Guatemala in Antigua, Guatemala. Throughout her career, she has cultivated meaningful relationships with donors, foundations, and community leaders to maximize impact in the community.

Maribeth's transition to CAHSS reflects both her extensive fundraising expertise and her lifelong passion for the humanities. She holds bachelor's degrees in English Literature and Spanish, with a minor in Fine Arts (Painting), from Regis University. She is honored to support the faculty, students, and programs that enrich the cultural and intellectual life of the University of Denver and the broader community.
