Nicole Lynn Rafferty

Ms. Nicole Rafferty is an AmSAT certified Alexander Technique teacher, a Suzuki Certified violin teacher and the owner of the music studio A Musician Is… and the Alexander Technique studio Optimized Functionality. Ms. Rafferty graduated from the University of Denver with a BA in music and psychology and received a graduate certificate in the Suzuki Pedagogy for violin. While completing her Suzuki certification at the University of Denver, Ms. Rafferty also received her Alexander Technique certification at Alexander Technique Denver under the direction of Heidi Leathwood, Nada Diachenko and Madeé Duprès. After completing her certifications Ms. Rafferty has devoted her time to advancing music education and the Alexander Technique in Colorado with the creation of her Alexander Technique studio Optimized Functionality, her music studio A Musician Is… and the formation of the Colorado Society for the Alexander Technique.
