Timo Cruz

Timo Cruz grew up in Aguascalientes, Mexico, where he began violin studies with his parents, both Suzuki professors, an experience that sparked his interest in teaching. Throughout his childhood, he attended numerous Suzuki festivals, immersing himself in the community and its pedagogical philosophy. He has since performed at renowned festivals including NYOmx, BUTI, AMFS, and EMF. An avid chamber musician, Timo has appeared in venues across the U.S. and Mexico, working under the guidance of Alice Yoo. He is currently pursuing his undergraduate degree at the Lamont School of Music at the University of Denver, where he studies with Linda Wang, while also working toward his Suzuki Certificate in teaching.
