Racism and Anti-Racism Through Film

This course is an examination of the socio-historical and political evolution of racism and anti-racism through documentary film. We will trace the origins and continued significance of race, racism, and anti-racism from the pre-colonial era to the present. While our primary focus will be on the United States, we will also pay attention to race, racism and anti-racism in a global context.
