Professional Biography

Annie Booth is a versatile and award-winning composer, arranger, and jazz pianist.
She has received national recognition for her work as a composer with awards and grants from the likes of ASCAP, Downbeat Magazine, the Jazz Education Network, the International Society for Jazz Arrangers and Composers (ISJAC), and Chamber Music America. Booth has released five albums as a bandleader and has appeared on more than a dozen as a side-musician. In 2019, she established the Annie Booth Big Band, an 18-piece group which she leads and for which she writes. Additionally, Annie Booth is a respected jazz educator and appears around the US and Canada as a guest artist-educator.
