Professional Biography

Kaitlyn Nohara is a collaborator, clarinetist, and arts administrator with a passion for realizing the visions of peers, listeners, and leaders in pursuit of making the world more musical.
 
As an administrator, Kaitlyn has held roles with the Lamont School of Music, International Clarinet Association, Denver Chamber Orchestra and Massachusetts Modern Music Retreat.
 
A frequent collaborator with composers, she has premiered and workshopped works by both emerging and established creators, including Stacy Garrop, Abdo Timejardine-Zomeño, Remi Inari, and more. An enthusiastic educator, Kaitlyn has a thriving private studio of middle and high schoolers.
 
Kaitlyn holds a Bachelor of Music in Performance at the University of Denver Lamont School of Music, where she was awarded the title of Presser Scholar. Her primary influences include Lynne Nakaura, Jeremy Reynolds, Jason Shafer, and Jonathan Gunn.
