Dan Mariotti

Dan Mariotti is a Registered Piano Technician in the Piano Technicians Guild (PTG). Before arriving at the Lamont School of Music, Dan was a software developer for multiple industries in addition to owning and operating Altitude Piano Company.  After studying music education and graduating from Colorado State University (go Rams!), he went on to study piano technology with many sage piano technicians in Colorado and across the United States. Dan is the president of the Colorado Springs chapter of the PTG, has been published in the Piano Technicians Journal, actively participates in the annual PTG Convention and Technical Institute, and has received advanced training at the Cornell-Westfield Center for Historical Keyboards Forte/Piano Tech Academy. In addition to piano tuning and repair, Dan builds/maintains custom web-based software, enjoys playing disc golf and hanging out with his kids, and plays saxophone at church and with the Academy Jazz Ensemble, a non-profit jazz education program.
