COVID-19 Health and Safety Procedures
Must be followed to attend any performance in the Newman Center.
The Newman Center for the Performing Arts is thrilled to welcome you back to our venue! The University of Denver is consulting daily with the Colorado Department of Health and Environment and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to ensure every step is being made to keep our patrons, staff and artists healthy.
Our performance venues each have a high-volume, low-velocity ventilation system installed, providing efficient and safe air flow. The extra measure of installing air filtration units with HEPA filters throughout the Newman Center has been taken as well.
All patrons ages 12 and older must show a photo ID and proof of vaccination to enter the building. Proof may be a physical or photo of a vaccine card, or by using the MyColorado app. For those unvaccinated, proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of the performance attended must be presented.
All visitors to the Newman Center will be required to always wear a mask while in the venue, including during the performances except when actively eating or drinking.
We are so grateful for your cooperation as we welcome the performing arts back to the stages of the Newman Center as safely as possible. We look forward to connecting with you through our collective love of the arts.
