Attending a performance or event at the Newman Center is an enjoyable experience with a courteous box office staff ready to assist you and complimentary parking for many concerts.
The box office will assist you with free tickets, purchased tickets and reserved seating.

Ticket Information
Free Performances
Many of our performances are presented at no cost to our audiences. Some complimentary performances do require free tickets to ensure everyone can be seated.
Purchased Ticket Performances
Reserved Seating Tickets
Tickets are $12 for faculty recitals and guest artist performances. Lamont Opera and Musical Theatre performances range in price from $20 to $40.
Reserved seating in the parterre is $5 for the Lamont Symphony Orchestra, Lamont Wind Ensemble, Lamont Choirs, Spirituals Project Choir, and Lamont Jazz Orchestra. Free general admission seating is available in the orchestra level and balcony.
Group Tickets (10 or more)
If you're interested in bringing a group of 10 or more to one of our ticketed shows, you may be able to save on box office fees. Contact our marketing and communications office for more information. Email angela.r.mitchell@du.edu or call 303-871-6499.
Parking Information
Parking is complimentary for large ensemble performances and the opera, as well as Lamont Society events. The garage opens for complimentary parking one hour prior to the performance.
- Parking is in the Newman Center Parking Garage on E. Wesley Ave., just south of the Newman Center and west of University Blvd.
- All complimentary parking is straight up the ramp as you enter the garage.
- Parking to the right at the entrance is paid parking, available for $2 per hour for concerts without complimentary parking.
We regret that we are no longer able to provide complimentary parking for small ensemble performances or faculty, guest artist, and student recitals.
