Professional Biography
I joined the department of Theatre at the University of Denver as an assistant professor in September 2017. Prior to that, I was involved with DU Theatre since 2000 as a guest artist and adjunct professor. For 25 years, I have worked across the country as a freelance designer. In Colorado, I am currently a lighting designer with Colorado Shakespeare Festival, The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities, The Denver Center for the Performing Arts, and Curious Theatre Company where I have been an Artistic Company member since 2001. National projects have included designs at Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Lookingglass Theatre, Northlight Theatre, The Court Theatre, Indiana Repertory Theatre and The Alliance Theatre in Atlanta as well as assistant designs on Broadway, off Broadway and national tours. International designs include projects in Berlin, Hamburg, London and Toronto. I received my MFA from Northwestern University and my BA from University of Denver.
