What I do

The Sculpture/Photography Studio Art Technician manages numerous aspects in each area which includes technical expertise, repair and maintenance, supply and equipment procurement, budget management, strategic planning and facility improvement, student employee oversight, student and faculty support, and most importantly - upholding health and safety standards.

Professional Biography

Eric Johnson is a visual artist with a background in 2-D / 3-D studio art. He earned his MFA from the Herron School of Art and Design in 2014 and his artworks have been exhibited throughout the United States. Inspired by his daily exposure to our complex world, his art is a philosophical yet emotional reaction to the exigencies of our political, scientific, ideological issues which are so deeply intertwined with the natural world.

Eric currently works fulltime at the University of Denver and teaches at various colleges throughout the Denver Metro area. He continues his artistic research utilizing a combination of printmaking, photography, painting, drawing, sculpture, and emerging technologies.
