Graduate Financial Assistance
The Department of Economics has limited merit-based financial aid available for graduate students each year. Graduate Teaching Assistantships (GTAs) and tuition credits are available for both international and domestic students. We award financial support mainly on basis of merit, with some concern for need, the willingness to assist us in some of our undergraduate courses and the level of competition from other applicants.Learn More
CAHSS & DU Awards, Grants and Aid
Students in the Department of Economics can apply for tuition assistance from the College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences or the University at large, and can apply for funds loaned through federal and state financial aid programs.
Students are considered for work-study positions on the basis of need after they submit the FAFSA as part of the initial financial aid application process. Once approved for work-study at DU, students should contact the Department of Economics for field-specific work-study opportunities.
