Congratulations to the winning trio of Idil Olgar, Dylan Tyree and Danbi Heo, and to the close runners-up, the Proxyma-B Quintet consisting of Ellie Colson, Kaitlyn Nohara, Cavan McCullough, Kaitlyn Rosling and Phillip Aleshire.
The decision by our two esteemed judges, Mina Gajik and Alberto Gutierrez, was unanimous:

The winning group will be playing in the 25/26 season Center for the Musical Arts Chamber Music Series in Lafayette, CO (directed by Alberto Gutierrez). However, the judges liked both groups so much that both the Winner and Runner-Up will be contacted by the COmpass REsonance artistic directors, Mina Gajik and Zachary Carrettin with further exciting information regarding fellowships with the COmpass Resonance, outreach concerts, masterclasses, career coaching sessions, etc. Stay tuned!
Additionally, both groups are expected to perform at the Lamont Chamber Honors Convocation in Gates Hall on Friday, May 2 at 7:30pm in Hamilton Recital Hall.
