The Lamont Wind Ensemble presents “Imagination and Industry,” a program brimming with heroic spirit and bold new sounds. Trumpet Professor Brian Neal takes the spotlight in the world premiere wind ensemble arrangement of his Emmy Award–winning Concertante, paired with Joseph Turrin’s Evensong for trumpet and winds. The evening also features Adam Schoenberg’s triumphant American Symphony and the sparkling Downey Overture by Oscar Navarro. With its blend of virtuosity, grandeur, and fresh compositional voices, this concert celebrates the artistry and innovation driving today’s wind music.
