Emotion Regulation
PSYC 3160
This course covers the current state of psychological and neuroscience research on how we're able to control our emotions (emotion regulation). This topic includes studies of different types of emotion regulation strategies, such as cognitive reappraisal and expressive suppression, stress and coping, as well as self-regulation more broadly. This is a service learning course; students are required to give presentations to the class and to community members.
