In collaboration with several students, Singer Artist-In-Residence and Visiting Professor of Photography, Calista Lyon will perform her work "The Unknown and the Unnamed." This work shares investigations into the endangered crimson spider orchid and reveals interwoven narratives centering on colonial power, botanical archives, and symbiosis. The performance uses images, voice, sound, and multi-screen projection to create an embodied experience of story.

The event is free and open to the public. There will be a light reception starting at 4:30 PM, the performance starts at 5:00 and runs for 2 hours and 15 minutes, with a brief intermission.
