Lamont's wind ensemble programs have a strong history of excellence — we're a staple of the Denver classical music community and our graduates go on to careers in performance, education, administration and scholarship.
The works performed by our students represent some of the most prominent traditional and contemporary composers. Each Lamont Wind Ensemble member is also assigned to a small chamber ensemble, coached by Lamont faculty.
Any DU student may audition for the Lamont Wind Ensemble. We rehearse Tuesday and Thursday, 4–5:50 p.m. If you are interested in auditioning, please contact Professor Martin at joseph.martin@du.edu.
