Interested in where philosophy will take you? In our program, you'll study the history of Western philosophical tradition while also engaging with contemporary philosophical thought. Although the main focus of our program is Western philosophy, we also provide numerous opportunities to study non-Western philosophical traditions.

Our highly flexible degree allows you to complete your course requirements in any order and fit your course schedule around a second major easily. We emphasize nurturing practical thinking and reasoning skills that can be applied to a wide range of career paths, including further graduate studies, law school, and careers in public health, higher education and more.
