College life, especially spring quarter at DU, is difficult even in a normal year. This spring, students have also had to learn to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic while juggling school, home, and work responsibilities.

Jenna Cutler, a senior majoring in psychology, spent the summer working one-on-one with elementary school students in Ghana, Africa. 

Kathryn McCauley, a second-year MA student in DU’s International and Intercultural Communication (IIC) program, is taking her passion for agriculture to South Korea as a Boren Fellow in 2020.

Thanks to the Lance Clem Scholarship Fund, the MFJS department is able to award scholarships to a handful of lucky students to help fund their summer internships.
