CAHSS Faculty Promotions for 2021
Effective September 1, several faculty members in the College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences at the University of Denver will be receiving promotions. These promotions recognize significant achievement, dedication and contribution to the mission of our departments, College, University and fields.
Three faculty members have been promoted to tenured full professor:
- Luc Beaudoin, Department of Gender & Women’s Studies
- Roddy MacInnes, School of Art & Art History
- Mia Mulvey, School of Art & Art History
Five faculty members received tenure and promotion to associate professor:
- Lauren DeCarvalho, Department of Media, Film & Journalism Studies
- Rachel Feder, Department of English & Literary Arts
- Chad Leahy, Department of Spanish Language, Literary & Cultural Studies
- Matthew Plenk, Lamont School of Music
- Matthew Zalkind, Lamont School of Music
One faculty member was promoted to the rank of teaching full professor:
Three faculty members were promoted to the rank of teaching associate professor:
- Stephanie Cheng, Lamont School of Music
- Amie Levesque, Department of Sociology & Criminology
- Ping Qiu, Department of Languages, Literatures & Cultures
We have three new professors emeriti:
- Antonia Banducci, Lamont School of Music
- Tracy Mott, Department of Economics
- Gwen Chanzit, School of Art & Art History
